The Yard is a no-frills, high-output training facility built for people who want real results.
No chrome machines. No ego. Just a purpose-built space to lift, carry, drag, push and get genuinely stronger.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or chasing competition numbers, The Yard gives you the coaching, kit and community to back it up.

Classes

Compound

A blend of olympic lifting and traditional weight lifting.

Learn and improve on barbell movements like cleans, squats, deadlifts, as well as dumbbell work.

Designed to build raw strength, explosive power and improve body composition.

Carry

Inspired by real-life strongman events.

Transport heavy objects over a distance to build strength, endurance and mental toughness.

Get to grips with functional movements like farmer's walk, yoke walk, suitcase and sandbag carries.

Conditioning

A mix of strength work and cardio to build muscular endurance and boost work capacity.

Aid recovery while still getting in a solid sweat.

Strongman Events

Heavy training inspired by the challenges you see in real strongman competitions.

Forget just carrying - depending on ability you'll tackle everything from the sled, log press, circus dumbbell and atlas stones.
